Wellington Project Prom

Wellington Project Prom is a not for profit parent run organization that is working on our 29th year of providing safe entertainment for our high school youth and their guests during the after prom hours.  This type of program was started out of concern over the startling number of alcohol or substance abuse related accidents that occur during that time.  Project Prom is designed to provide a safe alternative for celebrating prom.

 

Our hope is that you can help us to support this program.  We fundraise all year long to make this worthy event take place. We help our athletic department by holding the concession stands for the home WHS baseball games, WHS/WMS trackmeets as well as the WHS & Youth wrestling meets.  In addition to that, we do all the leg work on sponsorship for the annual athletic calendars, along with other smaller fundraisers.  We work hard for our funds but it still takes the support of our area businesses and community members. 

We welcome your monetary or prize worthy donation to help support Project Prom.  While donations help ensure that we can give away hot items such as laptops, game consoles, TV's, tablets, mini-fridges, futons and much more which encourage the students to stay the entire night, our goal is to ensure every WHS student participant takes home a prize with a minimum value of $25. 

 

Another popular activity supported by your donation when hosted at the school is the Cash Mashine. Students enter the wind machine to catch all the cash they can.

 

Lastly, we give away participation prizes throughout the night which even their guests can earn opportunties for prizes. The more the kids engage the more they get out of it.
